Wills & Trusts
Serving Brookfield, Bethel, Newtown, Redding & Ridgefield
The concept of what will happen to your, or a loved ones, property after a death is one that few people want to consider. However, what happens to your personal property essentially becomes your legacy. By creating a thorough Will, you can control your legacy, while at the same time minimizing the negative affects that money can have on familial relations.
At Glouzgal Ramos Groth LLP, we can help you protect your legacy by creating a solid Will that contains your wishes. We can help you outline the people and organizations you want to support, identify the property you own that should be included in the Will, and discuss options such as creation of trusts or owning property as joint tenants.
If a loved one has passed away, we can help administer the Will by submitting it to Probate. Submitting a Will to probate is the process, through the Probate Court, of honoring the wishes of the deceased individual. The probate process includes having the Will reviewed and admitted by the court, having administrators or conservators appointed as needed, identifying and notifying creditors, creating an inventory of estate property, completing the State Estate Tax forms, and settling the estate by collecting all funds and making sure all creditors are paid.
We will do probate administration in any probate district. If you need a Probate attorney, contact us today.
